Establishing design

Because you need to kick-start, or scale design within your organization.

Nurturing design, and growing creative teams is not easy for any organization. It’s hell of a lot harder for organizations where design is currently not present.

Creative workers are attracted to creative environments. If you are not in a position to offer that, you’re not going to be able to use design to compete in today’s market.

My efforts for helping organizations which want to embrace design start with assessing the design maturity of the organization itself. This allows me to understand how prepared it is to grow design, and utilize it for business opportunities.

The next step is me taking the intermediary design leadership role at your organization. For the time being I might be the only designer you’re working with. This needs to change as soon as possible by hiring for what will become your design department.

My efforts continue for as long as it takes until you have a healthy design department with a structure, processes, and everything necessary for it to function within your organization.

Assesment

I will get to know you and your team, analyze your needs, and create a report of the current state of design within your organization.

Skill identification

Every organization has needs for specific skillsets, and different individuals you are to hire possess unique blends of them. I will make sure that you end up with people who are compatible with each-other in this way.

Recruitment strategy

I know how to hire, where to advertise, and have a personal network of people which I can leverage to your advantage.

Processes

Sometimes you can just let people work, and things will work out. Most times you need to put some structure in place in order for things to fit in with the rest of the organization. I can make your creative department fit like a glove.

Does this make sense?

I’d love to see if there’s a way for us to work together.
