Tracking My Diet

I remember running into what I think is a really cool service some time age – FoodFeed. It’s a thingie that lets you update and track your eating habits through Twitter. You just send an @ reply to Twitter user having much like this:

@having Veggie tortillas w/ mushrooms, lettuce, cabbage, red onion and sour cream

Now, I remember being very interested in knowing exactly what I eat and when, but I just wasn’t very responsible at updating it with information. Since I am now on a self prescribed diet regimen, I really want to see what I can do with this. Basically I have been on a diet for two weeks now and I’m already seeing some results, so hopefully I hope to lose the belly and the love handles in a month or so.

In addition to FoodFeed I have looked at TweetWhatYouEat.com which even displays the calories for certain foods, but it’s not as pretty looking as FoodFeed and also I saw I need to enter calories for the food I eat (I am clueless when it comes to calories and that stuff), so I decided to pass on it.

If you’re interested in the progress – follow me on Twitter, cheers.

Absolutely insane brush work. In-sane.

Throw your uniform away now and burn the flag above your head,
Toss your medals to the wind now before you’re victoriously dead.

Turn your tanks around,
Use the metal to build a playground.

Celebrate the broken gun.

Falling like a rain of unbearable pain, bombs fall,
Made to kill, launched at will, bombs fall.

DYN#4

On Eric Gill – creator of the Gill Sans typeface.

His personal diaries describe his sexual activity in great detail including the fact that Gill sexually abused his own children, had an incestuous relationship with his sister and performed sexual acts on his dog.1

Kind of makes you think twice about using Gill Sans again, doesn’t it?

A Guide to a Happy Life

  1. Do things that make you happy.
  2. Do not do things that make you sad. I repeat – do not, under any circumstances do things that make you feel not happy. This is the exact opposite of what you’re trying to do.
  3. ???
  4. Profit.

Good, Better or Best?

This was really surprising (pleasantly) and gave me a giggle. Pages doesn’t offer ‘small’ or ‘poor’, but rather ‘good’, ‘better’ or ‘best’ as options for image quality while exporting a document to PDF.

'80s Party Muxtape

I have decided to waste some time today after a delicious lunch (zucchini/tomato pasta) and prepare for tonight with a killer party mix. Obviously I opted for the eighties because I friggen love it.

I will be accepting proposals through Twitter or comments on this post, later on I will update the post with the final result. Muxtape accepts 12 songs per account and the URI of the mix will be http://80sparty.muxtape.com/

Current Selection

  1. Kim Wilde – You Keep Me Hangin’ On
  2. Don’t You Want Me – The Human League
  3. Kim Wilde – Kids in America
  4. Take On Me – A-HA
  5. Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up (gotta have the rickroller)
  6. (I Just) Died In Your Arms – Cutting Crew
  7. Nena – 99 Luftbalons

If you know a good source for these songs, holler at me. I suck at finding them.
