  2. Both look like good programmes. These days i’m quiting smoking, i have to get some workout, i’ll probably use this, thanks :)

BTW, these “hindy pushups” ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZgKSSDISSo ) remind me of that old joke “Oy, gringo, you fuck very well, but your woman is gone” :D

  4. Shit son, I can’t do more than one pullup! :)

I’m extremely weak at the moment, but decided to get my shit together and get in shape. Already lost 7kg (I’m at 85kg right now, and I’m 182cm tall). So I figured I’m gonna start doing pushups and crunches, situps and that stuff. My initial goal is to get to 100 and I’ll see how it goes. This accompanied to and hour – hour and a half of skateboarding almost every day is good in my opinion.

    PS

@Miloš – kudos for quitting smoking!

  5. That’s fine. But… You could try a “pushup-pyramid” exercise prior to all of this. It goes like this:
Make 1 pushup, then 5-10 seconds rest.
Then make 2 pushups, then 5-10 seconds rest.
    Make 3…, etc, then make 10 pushups, 5-10 …
Then you go down making 9 pushups, 5-10 rest, 8, 7, 6, … and finally a single pushup. If you count the number of pushups done you’ll have exactly 100 (10×1). If you aim at 15, you’ll and up with 225 pushups (15×15). And by using a small breaks of 5-10 sec you provide a significant relief for your body (especially imprtant during your “rookie” level of training). The entire exercise can be done in less then 5 minutes. Do a couple of this in series and you’re ready for any number of pushups in a consequence… Good luck ;)
